All Souls Church | Professional telecoms system for conference calls

THE CLIENT

All Souls Church is a thriving community within the heart of Harlesden, London NW10.

Many of its members have been worshipping in the church regularly over several decades through multiple generations. Some people still live close by, but many travel from the surrounding areas. Some come as far as East London. People from all generations attend and find comfort in their daily lives by meeting their church family and worshipping together.

THE CHALLENGE

To implement a solution for maintaining social interactions within the community. Allowing the members of this organisation, young or old, to comfortably connect to each other via telecommunication. Due to Covid-19 problems, meetings and gatherings have been unable to exist, so a solution to doing this without physically attending is required.

THE SOLUTION

FLR Telecoms were happy to help and installed an FLR Spectron HD Talk Conference Bridge – using a local number for them. It allows up to 30 participants to meet through the dial-in service. As it can be accessed by any mobile or landline device, this service is accessible to the whole congregation and especially those without internet access.

The group can now meet weekly for readings and prayers. Participants find it really easy to use and have come to appreciate the weekly worship sessions with their Church family. The conference bridge is also being used for the Parochial Church Council (PCC) to meet and discuss Church matters.
