Michelle Williams joined FLR in 1993 as its first staff member, recruited by the then sole Managing Directors Peter Scott-Wilds and Robert Fee. From her beginnings as administrator and then as Office Manager, Michelle’s responsibilities within FLR Spectron have grown and adapted significantly over the last 20+ years, leading to her current board level appointment which includes HR, organisational development and CSR. Michelle is involved in all aspects of business strategy and operations, and has led the way in recent years in building the company’s accreditation programme, including the achievement of several awards.
Outside of FLR Spectron, Michelle is an active supporter of Bromley EBP and regularly participates in school activities including interview techniques, CV workshops and getting students ready for work. Michelle also sits on the Youth Employment Scheme board.
As FLR Spectron continues to grow as a company, acquiring new businesses and expanding its range of services , as well as its workforce, the key challenge is staying true to the company’s core value: going the extra mile for its customers and staff.
